Why 'Yellowstone' Star Lainey Wilson Always Wears Bell Bottoms
Lainey Wilson's talents are undeniable. The reining ACM Female Artist of the Year has taken the country music world by storm with her fun and authentic sound, and she also stars as Abby on Yellowstone, one of the most-watched show on television. But while her talents are varied, you can always count on one thing to be the same for Lainey: Her incredible fashion sense, which always involves a pair of bell bottoms. She even named her album Bell Bottom Country.
The "Heart Like a Truck" singer's favorite piece of clothing also accentuates her most famous asset, which caused her to go viral on Tik Tok (she recently pulled on her bell bottoms to team up with Lauren Alaina for "Thicc as Thieves," a viral hit that celebrates "women and their curves".)
But why does Lainey Wilson wear bell bottoms? The answer is simple: To set herself apart. In an interview with Variety, Lainey said, "I was really trying to figure out what could I do to stand apart from the rest of the females in Nashville, because it’s very important to do that. And what is something that is really true to me? For me, it was the whole bell bottom throwback look. And I’m glad we did."

She doesn't plan to change her ways anytime soon, "I mean, we’ve been doing it now for probably about six years solid. Probably 2016 is when I decided, all right, if I’m gonna do this, I need to wear bell bottoms and need to wear my vintage shirts and stuff like that, daily."
Lainey has taken her love for the silhouette to the next level through a partnership with Wrangler. She's the new face of the brand and will have a capsule collection in 2024. And we know we can expect to see some bell bottoms in the collection!
